When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by February 16, so we can have an accurate headcount.

Can I bring a date?

Due to venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those named on the invitation. Should space become available after RSVPs, we will reach out regarding plus ones.
Plus ones are very welcome to the Friday Welcome Drinks and Sunday Recovery Brunch!

Are kids welcome?

We’d love to welcome little ones to the Friday Welcome Drinks and the Sunday Recovery Brunch. For the ceremony and reception, we ask that it be an adults only celebration.

What will the weather be like?

April in the Southern Highlands brings beautiful autumn weather — crisp mornings, mild days and cool evenings. Temperatures usually range between 9 °C and 19 °C, and the air can feel fresh once the sun goes down. We’ll have fires going inside to keep things cosy, but we recommend bringing a coat or wrap for before and after the celebrations.

Where should I park?

There’s plenty of parking on site for those who like to drive, but if you’d rather leave the stress behind, hop on our wedding bus it’ll pick you up before the ceremony and drop you home safely afterward.

Where will the wedding bus pick up and drop off?

Pickup and drop off locations are as follows (pickup times will be confirmed closer to the date and guests who have indicated they would like to use the bus service will be notified):

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Bendooley Estate is accessibility friendly, please let us know in advance if this is something you might need.

What should I wear?

Our dress code is Black Tie
Men: Black tuxedo or black matching suit
Women: Long dresses. Colour is very welcome!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception is inside the Book Barn.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

If you wish to wear stiletto heels, I would recommend purchasing 'heel protectors' or 'heel stoppers' as the ceremony is on grass.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We’ve hired an amazing photographer and videographer to capture every moment, so we kindly ask that you enjoy the ceremony without taking photos. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away, share, and tag us on social media — we don’t want to miss a thing!

Should we stay for the weekend?

The highlands and surrounds are full of gorgeous Air BnB's and accommodation options. We would love you to stay so that we can enjoy your company for the Welcome Drinks and Recovery & Debrief… we are hoping to spend as much time with our loved ones as possible! We recommend staying at one of the accommodation options that are listed as bus pick up and drop off locations.

Will you have a wedding registry or a wishing well?

Your presence is the greatest gift. If you wish to contribute, we will have a wishing well at our ceremony which will go toward our honeymoon and making our new house a home.
